Hot Stove Cool Music fundraising concert is first held.

Founded by brothers Paul and Theo Epstein, it is held at the Paradise nightclub. An annual fundraiser for A Foundation to be Named Later, the concert includes local and nationally-known rock musicians as well as baseball players and writers. A Chicago version is begun in 2012.
